BOSTON, MA – Matthew Karr, Esq, of The Heritage Law Center recently received the highly-regarded Five Star Award, recognizing service professionals who provide exceptional client satisfaction and service. Five Star Award winners appeared in a special section in the February 2016 issue of Boston Magazine. The Five Star program is the largest and most widely published financial services award program in North America. Award candidates are evaluated on criteria including depth of experience, industry and board certifications, favorable regulatory and complaint histories, and Pro Bono activities. Five Star award winners can not nominate themselves, nor do winners pay to be included in the research or the final list of award winners. The distinction is based on how clients and peers have evaluated their experience in working with that individual. “It’s a great feeling, to know that my efforts are recognized by peers as well as clients.” says Karr. “Receiving this award validates the commitment I make to my clients in making sure their best interests are top priority.” Five Star Professional, a third-party research firm, collects nominations from peers and firms, including financial planners and advisors, CPAs, and estate planning attorneys. After review by a panel of local industry experts and a review of regulatory history, Five Star Professional determines the final list of Five Star Award recipients.
